Marching for 100 years

Originally formed as part of the 4th Mid Suffolk (Bury St Edmunds) Company of the Boys' Brigade in 1919 the band has continually operated in several forms for over 100 years. Providing a traditional style marching band for all sorts of events, from remembrance parades, civic parades, carnivals, fetes and more. 
We now operate as 'Bury St Edmunds Steadfast Band' at Garland Street Baptist Church in Bury St Edmunds. 

Come and join us

We are always open for new people to join us, all ages welcome, all levels of experience (Including none) are welcome too. We can accommodate trumpets and brass, bell lyres (like an upright glockenspiel), drums and cymbals.

Bookings for events

Please note, we are a fairly small band and all of our members play in the band voluntarily, for their enjoyment. As a result we are unable to accept every request we have. All requests will be decided upon on an individual basis depending of the availability of band members and existing commitments.
